Family and Business (FaB) Mentors

Free support for primary producers

Operating a primary production business comes with challenges. At times, it might help to talk things through with someone independent who understands.

PIRSA's Family and Business (FaB) Mentors are available to help primary producers navigate challenging times.

They provide free, confidential and impartial support to help you think clearly, explore your options and connect with the right services.

If you need to talk to someone, contact a FaB Mentor directly. You do not have to work through challenges on your own.

You can contact a FaB Mentor at any time.

What is a FaB Mentor?

FaB Mentors are experienced people who live and work in regional South Australia.

FaB Mentors have experience across farming, finance, business and wellbeing. They understand the realities of primary production and the pressures that can come with it.

A FaB Mentor is someone you can talk to when you need support with your business or personal situation:

  • listening without judgement
  • helping you make sense of what’s happening
  • talking through options and next steps
  • connecting you with relevant services and support.

FaB Mentors work closely with service providers and can connect you to support options, such as:
